Discouragement in our Business Life!

Face it, we all went through it. We all had to deal with it!

It is how we handled it that made the difference in our success or in our failure.

One of the challenges people face when building their network marketing/direct sales/online marketing business is avoiding discouragement! Fighting through to the other side. Your success or your failure is going to depend on how you handle discouragement!

When your first joined the business you were full of vim and vigor! You were ready to take on the world and change your life forever!

Somewhere along the path you will run into someone who wants to crap all over your dreams and wants to tell you to stop wasting your time with that “get rich quick scheme”

Eric Worre did a video on his site: Network Marketing Pro that I thought was fantastic. He was talking about discouragement in business and I thought you would like it.

He also had a fantastic quote in this video!

"What do top network marketers have in common? Nothing"

I thought this was a fantastic quote and 100% true. Network Marketing or Internet marketing is not perfect but it is 100% better then the alternative!

Learn to build your business Online and Be Consistent

If you want to achieve your dreams and change your life with your online business you are going to have to be consistent and you are going to have to learn what the top marketers are doing.

The Problem with Traditional Network Marketing Model

Traditional Network Marketing is Flawed from the Start Because of the Way it is Presented!

Getting 5, who get 5 who get 5 is:

a) Relying on other people to create your income. It's not a 'success model' worth replicating anyways. In other words, if you 'get 5' you'll still be probably spending more than you're making - in Empower Network, you may make more, but you're only going to make a lot if you're lucky - you'll barely break even. In every other deal in the universe, you'd be losing money - then you're going out, and helping those 5 replicate your 'non success model' and you can only succeed when a massive number of 'failure models' below you are also losing money. (I'm not talking about people just buying products - I'm talking about someone actually building. If you're autoship is $250 a month, and you get 5, you'll make around $20 a month in almost every deal on the planet - replicating failure downline) However, if you get 2 a day - it doesn't matter if ANYONE actually even builds the business, or if they're all customers just ordering the products. You can make $30,000 a month if NOBODY does a thing. Then, when you replicate THAT - your income replicates too. That's replicating a 'success model' instead of a 'failure model' - does that make sense?

b) It doesn't work, or ever happen like that, so it's dishonest. On the other hand, getting 2 a day, although it's easy once you get it, takes more work in the start than getting '5 total'. However, it's honest, because IF you do it - you'll make money. A lot of money.

c) If you get 2 customers a day - eventually the odds actually do work in your favor, and someone will replicate you, based on pure statistical outcomes - even if what you do with them after you get them in isn't what we're teaching. In other words - if 1/100 active customers earn $3,000 a month (about accurate - keeping in mind I am including just customers, brand new customers, and customers who don't stay in) and 1/3 of those earn $10,000 a month, and 1/3 of those earn $20,000 a month, and 1/3 of those earn $50,000 and beyond - that means that by simply getting 2 a day for 100 days, you'll have another person creating a full time income. 6 months later, you'll have your first $10,000 a month earner. 2 years later, you'll have an army of success - based on odds alone, and actually producing enough to play them. (note: not a guarantee)

THAT is a model that is built to win, and honest. Produce a lot, and you'll succeed, based on actual statistics.

I can break the statistics into faster growth, too - by actually teaching people what to do with their team once they have one. Right Tony Rush? Lawrence Tam? Tracey Walker? and more?

The Empower Network model is built to where people who ACTUALLY DO IT win, all the time. It is a 'winner's model'

Follow the Leaders and Listen for Once

Leaders are Readers!

Successful people understand a formula for success doesn't have to learned from the school of hard knocks! They understand that there are quicker ways to get to the top and have success That is why listening to leaders is so Important. Leaders who have achieved success will give you a game plan. They will light the way and tell you how to achieve what they have achieved. If you listen to them, it will make your life so much easier. That is the major breakthrough that happened for me inside of the Empower Network. I finally learned to "empty my cup" and listen to my mentors. Listen to the people that are really making it happen. If you have a sponsor who is earning over $300k a year, shouldn't you listen? Seems like a no brainier! Yet so many of us only follow part of the program. I know, because I was that person! I would skip steps 2 and 3 and go straight to 4! (I would do the same things when putting stuff together, that is why I always had to do it twice!) My Review of the Empower Network

Before I get into my own personal review of the Empower Network I want to share a quick story with you. I go back to the year 1985 and I am invited out to dinner at a Chinese restaurant in Salt Lake City, Utah

I go along just to be nice and we walk into a back room of this quaint little restaurant. We are greeted by a great, very friendly group of people. We sit down, eat a nice dinner and they begin to tell us about this business they are starting and wondering if we would be interested in joining. This is my first introduction to Network Marketing.

I look at it and decide that it is one of those pyramid schemes and I decide not to join. Years later I become friends with a gentleman named Hector LaMarque who was one of the top earners in A.L. Williams. Hector was earning over a million dollars a year at the time. I fly out to his home in Ontario, Ca, get to spend the day with him, we drive over too his country club and go play some golf. From that day forward I was hooked on Network Marketing or direct marketing!

By the way, the people that I had dinner with at that little Chinese Restaurant were the Tilitson family. They were the founders of Nu-skin, if you are not familiar with Nu-skin they are a multi-billion dollar company based out of Utah! My Bad...

Up until this point I was taught the same things. Go to school, get a job and be set! Work 40 years for the same company and then retire.

Now don’t get me wrong, I value education very highly! I just don’t believe that spending 20-40 THOUSAND dollars going to school to get a job working for someone else is a very productive use of my time and hard earned money!

That leads me to…

Being full time in this industry for a little over 4 years now I have seen many compensation plans come my way. Some are great, some are good, but none paid out 100% commissions on products that were actually GOOD! haha

Yes I have seen some 100% commission programs but they absolutely sucked as a product, and it was usually a 1 time 100% commission and that’s it. No leverage or residual income at all… Where is the fun in building something like that?
